Notchers or notching machinery are used to manipulate the size and shape of sheet metal. The process typically requires a punch press that has a top and bottom shear blade. When actuated the notcher will cut the sheet metal creating a notched edge. Notchers are extremely advantageous when the user wants to quickly create edge profiles for single or low-volume parts. If the user is looking to produce parts in higher volumes a CNC cutting machine is a better solution. We acquire and sell used notchers from a variety of brands.
